On behalf of the Asia Pacific chapter of Committee on Women and Psychoanalysis of the International Psychoanalytical Association (COWAP) in liaison with International Psychoanalytical Studies Organization (IPSO), we invite you to a webinar on "The Custom-Made Body: Generations, Cultures, Perspectives" to be held on Saturday, the 8th of March, 2025 from 10.30 AM to 1.30 PM Indian Standard Time. 


The webinar approaches the theme of the body, through the intersection of generations, cultures and perspectives which creates a dynamic and ever-changing idea of beauty standards. These transformations reverberate in how the body is represented and integrated in a person's psyche, sexuality, gender, desire and identity. The pursuit of the custom-made body, becomes a way of listening to the lived experiences with eating disorders, disabilities, disfigurements, and ageing in the clinic. We welcome you to be part of the conversation around these complexities in the psychoanalytic encounter.
